FAISALABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan on Tuesday said that if the party is elected to power in 2018 general el
ections, it will provide suitable environment to investors in the country.
Speaking at a textile conference, Khan said that no politician in PTI-administered Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (KP) is allo
wed to operate businesses and that if the party succeeds in establishing a feder
al government in el
ections this year, a similar framework would be applied countrywide.
The PTI chief further added that citizens are investing in companies overseas due to corruption and lack of accountability in the country.
Khan also said that he is aware of the difficulties faced by indus
trialists and that if PTI were to establish a feder
al government, rights of indus
trialists and e
mployees will be brought up on every forum.
