ISLAMABAD: Star Cricketers Chris Gayle, Shoaib Akhtar, and Kevin Pietersen sent good wishes for Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif ahead of his open heart surgery in London.
Gayle said “My prayers and thoughts are with PM Nawaz Sharif and I hope everything goes according to the plan. God bless you.” Pakistani former cricketer Shoaib Akhtar said “My prayers for PM Nawaz Sharif’s successful surgery and May Allah Bless our PM with good health,” a state-run TV reported.
Kevin Pietersen, who is also in London said, “My thoughts go out for PM Nawaz who is in London to have heart surgery. I hope you enjoy your stay in London and everything goes okay.”
